As has been stated before, the people who were admitted today also received the email yesterday. This seems to indicate a relatively quick turnaround for decision-to-status-checker-update.Dani.B wrote:I received the email but I think those that didnt should still relax. Isn't it possible that a decision has been made but they havent made it to your status checker to update yet. Its not like we know the turnaround from when they accept you and when they make the congratulations status checker change.

I love this woman. I want to go to Mich so badly!!!crumpetsandtea wrote:Called! Spoke to a very nice woman there, she said it means nothing and it was sent based on submission dates, just to keep people who applied early informed and apologize for the long wait.
she also said Dean Z has posted a blog post about this very issue because there was so much confusion!!
here's the link to to blog post -- it's called "Chill Lemur Speaks"...think she's talking to us?![]()

FWIW, I was admitted about a week before I got access to ASW. I received an e-mail with my admission and it was about a week before I could get into ASW. This was before the status checker messaging changed so IDK how quick it is now.WhiteGuy5 wrote:Yeah. How long is someone "slated" for an admit decision before the status updater changes? I don't imagine very long. Especially because they updated admit-statuses today, we (the no-emails) should have been updated at the very latest today.emcoast32 wrote: think of it this way: if the no-email group contained admits, they would have been in line for acceptances before those who received emails (because they were "slated" for decisions, when the email group was not). i know of no one who was admitted without receiving the email.
I think we're headed for dings. Oh well.
How many of those invited have actually gotten a full Darrow? In an old thread someone claimed that of 18 invitees who checked in at TLS in 2009, 16 got full Darrows. That sounds too good to be true...iThwl wrote:Darrow Invite
Edit: notified via email within a week of admittance. Hope that helps!

Na. I emailed LSAC, they get the scores automatically. I didn't get the email either, but just went under review recently.sums wrote:did any of you guys that just got accepted have a dec lsat score? I didn't get the email and am terrified they made a decision on my oct score

On that note, Michigan, please process my deposit payment so I'm not freaking out about whether or not I'm going to accidentally miss the deadline from the payment not going through.

Well IDK, but it seems that there is a faculty committee that reviews, which leads me to believe its not 100% and that there is variation. It seemed to take a week to hear back after submitting the essay.planeride wrote:How many of those invited have actually gotten a full Darrow?
