I received the email but I think those that didnt should still relax. Isn't it possible that a decision has been made but they havent made it to your status checker to update yet. Its not like we know the turnaround from when they accept you and when they make the congratulations status checker change.

As has been stated before, the people who were admitted today also received the email yesterday. This seems to indicate a relatively quick turnaround for decision-to-status-checker-update.

Something tells me half of you 12/22 people haven't even been reviewed yet, so you guys might be an exception. Don't automatically think of yourself as dinged. *attempt at giving hope*

I still think there's going to be a lot of yield protection WL's or dings judging by the spreadsheet numbers.

Yeah. How long is someone "slated" for an admit decision before the status updater changes? I don't imagine very long. Especially because they updated admit-statuses today, we (the no-emails) should have been updated at the very latest today.

I think we're headed for dings. Oh well.
FWIW, I was admitted about a week before I got access to ASW. I received an e-mail with my admission and it was about a week before I could get into ASW. This was before the status checker messaging changed so IDK how quick it is now.

How many of those invited have actually gotten a full Darrow? In an old thread someone claimed that of 18 invitees who checked in at TLS in 2009, 16 got full Darrows. That sounds too good to be true...

Well, I got the e-mail, and I had a substantial improvement on my LSAT score.

I really have no source of reassurance here. It's just a matter of waiting and finding out.

I did respond to the e-mail, however, just casually mentioning that I had improved my LSAT.

TBH I'm fairly certain that there is no certainty as to what a lack of that e-mail really means.

Different people seem to have different deposit deadlines. Mine is April 30th. It'll say in your acceptance letter.

This. For example, my deposit deadline is...Sunday.

On that note, Michigan, please process my deposit payment so I'm not freaking out about whether or not I'm going to accidentally miss the deadline from the payment not going through.

Na. I emailed LSAC, they get the scores automatically. I didn't get the email either, but just went under review recently.

I wouldn't worry about it tbh, there seems to be WAY too much stress in these threads. It's still early..

Are they sending Dec. test takers fee waiver emails tomorrow (Wednesday)?

IN TODAY! Down one shot of Jameson and a Guinness now on the way. Weird timing though...my checker would have updated at like 7am.

170/3.67 and I also got the weird email. Hope this helps. Good luck all.

Well IDK, but it seems that there is a faculty committee that reviews, which leads me to believe its not 100% and that there is variation. It seemed to take a week to hear back after submitting the essay.

In via status checker!!! 3.8/169. Seeing that congratulations message when you're just expecting the usual complete is an amazing feeling. I got the email a few days ago, and was starting to worry since I didn't write any of the optional essays.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
