Based on last year's graph, are we expecting waitlists to start soon? And does anyone know how those are sent out?

Looks like waitlists start coming in early April and pick up steam around mid-April.

Who knows. All we have is speculation. Some people who got admitted went through multiple rounds of reviews but what does that really mean?

We don't know. I'm guessing no, since people are still getting in. Someone got accepted today, and there was a pretty large batch, relatively speaking, recently.

Yes. I think so, by this time. I think they might be at the VERY tail end of rejections from the first review (people who submitted on or around the Feb. 1 deadline).

That sucks. that's means I'm held at 3 schools with no answer from the 4th, sigh. Also, the recent batches seemed to be URMs for the most part...

I think all the recent acceptances have been URMs. Maybe they are finishing up the first round of review while also starting on the URM stack? It seems logical...but then again I would rationalize anything that means I still have a chance.

No probs, I'm sure most of us in this thread can relate to that sentiment.

But yeah, they seem to be working their way through the URM pile, which makes sense since it's considerably smaller than the general application pool, so at this point in the cycle they should have a good sense of what the entire URM pool looks like, and also who they want/don't want out of it.

I have the same question but didn't see a response to this. I was expecting to WL or rejection because I applied late (end of January). Stats = 171/3.77, non-URM. My first status was "under review" 1/31. Today it changed to "A decision letter has been sent." Does anyone know how waitlist candidates are notified? I'm not expecting awesome news, but would like to be on the waitlist.

Quick question - My status just changed to DLS and I was wondering if that could that still mean a WL? Or definitely that a ding is coming in the mail soon....

Also fyi - submit 1/10, UR 1/26, DLS a few minutes ago. 169/3.3 with pretty decent softs and WE

Well, according to the decision date graphs, waitlists don't go out until at least early April, so it's likely a rejection. Sorry .

I don't know where to post this, but I was looking at the premed equivalent of TLS and man, they have so much more to worry about. Every 'chance me' on TLS is 'your numbers aren't good enough, retake.' Theirs is 'community service hours, clinical hours, shadowing, leadership positions, your MCAT sections scores aren't balanced enough.'

Mine aren't going to get me into Stanford but oh how I appreciate the numbers-heavy approach of law school.

Yup. Everytime I think I'm going to have it hard as a lawyer, I think about my many friends who are on the pre-med track and I start feeling like I have nothing to complain about. Hey, it works.

I guess based on some of UR dates of the recent DLS notifications, I escaped one round of elims... but maybe mine is coming soon. Ahh! I am touring another law school now and thinking about SLS.

Is it sad that I check now on the weekends even when I checked after close of business on Friday? I mean its not like anything will change during the weekend, but I still panic every time someone mentions a DLS.
