just got a purple letter! awesome! thanks veryone for the help/support and good luck to everyone remaining!

That's so awesome! Congrats! Our numbers are about the same (I am a little higher GPA but multiple LSATer), and we are both ED. What are your dates if you don't mind me asking?

It was postmarked 12/23, which means it got to me in a day.

Amusingly enough, I was halfway down the street heading home for the holidays when I saw a mailman walk by...I chased after him and asked him if there was anything for me at my address. He looked through his pile of stuff with no luck, and when I said "maybe a big purple envelope?" he went "OH!" and pulled it out.

Needless to say, there was shrieking.

CONGRATS! Crazy fast turnaround. I've seen a couple 5 and 6 day turnarounds (I was one of them, fortunately), but they are not the norm.

It's good in that you know that you will know one way or the other soon?

Are you ED? I think a lot of EDers got 12/15 decision letter sent deferrals.

In addition to precedent cat, this thread needs a "crazy status checker" cat. If I had any LOLCat skills I would make one, but since I don't I won't even try.
