I did. But, my IR days were 4/27 and 4/28, which makes me think it was just a glitch.

edit: too excited and said I was in review March instead of April

Yea, i don't think it means anything. Okay, I'm going to peace out because this thread will make me nervous.. gl fellow 5/3ers. I'm close to USC, so I'll post if I see that I get the decision first.

You're right, it probably doesn't mean anything. Just trying to hypothesize as to how I am still IR at 3/26 and looking for whatever patterns/clues I can find.

I don't believe it's a glitch. Go read the Illinois thread. I asked Dean Pless about the database system ACES2. If I recall correctly he updates it manually.

Seems like we have to sit tight for a bit, as they finish up reviewing regular (no decision yet) applicants like this DF 5/3 group.

going by what happened to me, and other earlier WL-ed people...A letter is being mailed to you informing you of the waitlist. You will be given a very short (probably 2-4 day) period within which you must snail mail back a signed waitlist form indicating your desire to be formally added to the list. They seem to give the short grace period on purpose to weed out people less interested. Some people even received the letter the day of or day after the waitlist form was due.

I was out of town when i received my letter and was late for the deadline. I called the office and they allowed me to email it in scanned PDF form. I followed up a couple days later to confirm i was on the list. emailing a PDF would probably work best for you given how late it is already.

I take back what I posted earlier... I have a feeling 5/3 is a ding batch. I hope I don't sound like a douche, but my gut feeling is based on the review date patterns of the folks in the 5/3 batch (assuming the reported dates are accurate).

Edit: For instance... IR 4/22 and 4/30, DF 5/3.
IR 4/27, DF 5/3.
IR 4/30, DF 5/3.

Seem like awfully fast turnaround times...

Edit 2: But then, it could also be that they now have fewer files to work through, and hence are able to turn them around much quicker than they previously did. My gut feeling could be wrong.
