Has anyone with a JS1 today gotten their confirmation email yet? This is like my 4th interview this cycle through appointments plus and I've always gotten the confirmation immediately.
I was complete in November, still waiting on a JS1.

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
First post here so I am probably doing this wrong, but I was admitted yesterday!
I submitted 10/1, received my interview request on 11/3 (completed the interview 11/17).
Worst wait ever, but so worth it.

Got a JS1 halfway through Deadpool, which made the rest of the movie unbearable for some reason...
Got the email at 4:57pm ET for anyone interested, and now i am ridiculously nervous.
Good luck to all other JS1ers and congratulations JS2 crowd!

Re: Harvard C/O 2019 Applicants
I felt the same way during the January JS2 wave, seeing people who interviewed after me getting acceptances. It can definitely be tough, indeed, this entire process can be tough and draining. I suppose at some level you just have to maintain the confidence in yourself that you'll make it in the end. But I definitely feel you.Ivy2015 wrote:I know I'm probably out of line but this last JS2 wave was the first one I've been through as a JS1 and it was hard seeing everyone (including people who interviewed after me) get a JS2. I'm so happy for all of the JS2s but just venting to TLS BC my friends/family don't get the stress. Anyone feel my pain?

For people still waiting, I was the first posted TLS JS1 call way back, had an interview in October, and heard squat until my JS2 this past Thursday. Don't worry about people who submitted/interviewed after you hearing back first. It's better they be on the fence about you than push you on the wrong side of it. Good luck - waiting really is the last test.

Can anyone link to the latest speculation on JS1-->JS2 rates? Just got my JS1 on Friday, trying to gauge how hopeful I should be

% of JS1s accepted/denied can be found in the spreadsheet here.dooritos23 wrote:Can anyone link to the latest speculation on JS1-->JS2 rates? Just got my JS1 on Friday, trying to gauge how hopeful I should be

The spreadsheet has self-reporting bias, so it likely inflates the JS1 to JS2 acceptance rate. There are also probably some JS1s on there who failed to update their status to JS2, which would lower the real acceptance rate.Topszn wrote:% of JS1s accepted/denied can be found in the spreadsheet here.dooritos23 wrote:Can anyone link to the latest speculation on JS1-->JS2 rates? It's certainly useful information, but take it with a grain of salt.

Of course, no one outside of the Admissions office know the exact figure so the spreadsheet is interesting if nothing else.icantwait wrote:The spreadsheet has self-reporting bias, so it likely inflates the JS1 to JS2 acceptance rate. Some people get it in a few weeks and some people get it after a few months. No one can predict when you'll get onehindo wrote:Should I expect a JS1 this early after only going complete mid January?

I went complete late Jan and recently got a JS1. not sure if there is any correlation between the time it takes between complete and JS1 vs. the likelihood getting a js2, though.hindo wrote:Should I expect a JS1 this early after only going complete mid January?
