I thought many of us 4/11'ers at least had waitlist numbers, especially considering USC keeps such a large list every year.

Just don't get it.

Hi guys! I have a quick question for you. I have not been following up much my West Coast apps, nonetheless I still think its bizzard my USC status checker says complete since 2/3 and nothing else. Is anyone else out there in this same position? Does USC have like "Under Review" options or else? Should I call and ask?

Like you, I'd already resigned myself to my fate

Definitely lessened the sting. I feel a little beaten down over USC and UCLA both being my dream schools and also being my only rejections, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'll go to Davis and hopefully get to SoCal the roundabout way.

We're all missing USC Admit Day right now... And the awesome thing is that I'm at USC visiting my boyfriend today. Oh, the irony.

eta: I just picked up the mail with my ding. As a former bruin it would have been painful to don SC gear anyway

the difference between rejection and in at USC is so friggin' thin.

also, I think the correct phrase would be, "I'm taking my talents to the Charles River." The King didn't say he was taking his talents to the Heat (which would be the equivalent of BU here). He specified South Beach so the Charles would be TCR.

hey.. I dunno if anyone is in the same boat but I still have not heard back and I've been complete since January. Would it be okay to call the admissions office at the end of the week to ask for a status update considering the first deposit is due in two weeks? thoughts?

I finally went "In Review" 4/18, but then again I didn't submit my application until 3/1, so I guess my torture isn't quite as bad as others. Hopefully I won't be in review for too long. Admission office said they are trying to have all decisions made by Mid-May.

I think calling has to do with how much people like you as they'll ask for your name. If you're like me, don't call.
