This will likely out me, but I'm too excited to not share

I just bought a hot pink coach backpack! My husband is furious at me ($$$) but how else is a girl to get excited for re-entering school? Come on...

So I decided to email and ask if I should expect anything in the mail in regards to need based scholly, n it's time sensitive since I want to know which leases I can sign, and they told me they mailed it on the 27th!!

Does your ISIS say anything about the scholly/did you get a financial aid letter saying they had done your package?

It was the only "time sensitive" issue I could think of lol. In the email I mentioned how prices were going up and the sooner I could sign, the better, but it would help to know if I would be pulling out of loans or not. Barbie, the amount it shows on the letter, is that for a semester or year?

ISIS does not mention it yet, as far as I understand I have to send back the letter accepting their offer then the necessary adjustments on ISIS will show. And no, never received a letter in the mail in regards to a fin aid package (but I Did get an email)

It's for the year (1/2 fall, 1/2 spring). On your ISIS it breaks it up by semester though so you can verify.

per year? so that means its a scholarship and not a grant... which is so weird bc Carol told me long ago that merit based was done and it was only need based now

My understanding of them is that they are only for the first year? Maybe I'm wrong but I haven't seen anything go against it ITT yet.

I'd just call Carol Huber. She's awesome! You can call admissions and they will transfer you to her.

Also, could you ask if more merit based are being awarded? If Neo's statement is true then they must be, which would be a big relief for some people!
