Re: University of San Francisco
Got my acceptance email the day before yesterday!
Haven't received my package yet but not expecting any $$ with my stats, very excited about USF though. Such an amazing campus and excellent legal writing program.

Re: University of San Francisco
My LSAT was pretty piss poor at 153 (took in Dec and didn't want to retake, not making excuses about testing in the 160s)
My LSDAS GPA was 3.54 (3.63) I am not URM.
I attended UC Berkeley for undergrad and had work experience and good softs. I was admitted without being wait listed for full time enrollment on 3/16/10. I submitted my app at the end of January 09. Hope this encourages some others who didn't fare well on the LSAT

Re: University of San Francisco
I got accepted last week. In my acceptance e-mail they said financial aid information would be included in my acceptance packet. I got it today and there was no mention of financial aid at all. Does this mean I'm not getting anything?
Can any admits shed some light?
Thanks everyone and good luck to those still waiting!

I went complete on 12/08/2009 and am still waiting. Anyone else in my shoes? Is something wrong with my numbers (165, 3.02)?

My packet came today with no mention of any of the aid referenced in the original email. Pretty certain this means they're not offering any $...

Same here...I think that means no $, which I expected since my LSAT and GPA didn't exceed their percentiles. Additionally, they seem to be a bit stingy with the aid. You can always double check with them though.
Pretty much covered this above, didn't realize it posted twice, not very proficient with TLS posting yet

Re: University of San Francisco
I received my acceptance letter in the mail today. No mention of any scholarships $. I was surprised because my stats were in there 75% range for both LSAT and GPA. I believe they mention on the website that if you apply after 2/1 there may not be scholarship $ left.
I talked to admissions office today after visiting the schools and they said if there is no mention of $$$ then that means you were not awarded any scholarship.
I was not impressed with the school so I am not too disappointed. The law building is run down on the outside and the inside is by no means attractive. I'd encourage anyone seriously considering attending to visit the school before making any decisions.
Hope this helps

I have similar problems w/my stuff. 2.75/157, but HUGE family emergencies that caused the GPA. I got waitlisted. But maybe since you're PT you'll get straight in?cbliang wrote:CaliGirl26 wrote:My LSAT was pretty piss poor at 153 (took in Dec and didn't want to retake, not making excuses about testing in the 160s)

You make me feel hopeful.I am the opposite of you. I have an okay LSAT but not-as-good-gpa. But I wrote a GPA addendum for accident and medical treatment that I had during my sophomore year. Maybe I should've applied for FT.. I only applied to PT :/

The admissions office told me that they aim to fill a class of 55 and typically have 50-60 students matriculate. Based on the ABA data for USF, their PT program accepted 25.5% of their applicants (129/504) compared to 37.7% (1381/3657) of FT applicants.cbliang wrote:
