1pt below median LSAT and median GPA. I wouldn't be so certain. Good PS & recs could push you over the hump.

Sorry to contribute to the paranoia, but I'm from out of state, got the call yesterday, and went complete on 10/19

Thanks. Your GPA got me excited about my chances. Then your LSAT crushed my hopes. :)

Last year's LSN graph for UVA is the least helpful thing I have ever seen. Looks like box of Crayola Laser Lemon melted everywhere...

No clue. Did not write a "Why UVA" essay, either.

So glad I didn't get YP'd, though. Was definitely expecting it based on everything you read here.

Congrats. Great numbers.

I think you were just too damn good for YP. They couldn't take the chance that you maybe really do want UVa above T-6 for whatever reason. Also maybe they want to offer you tons and tons of cash.

Thanks. I do like UVA a lot, so I'm hoping the bolded above is true :D

I'd assume a full scholarship with stipend at the very least. But they'll probably offer to name a buiding after you as well. "dbb44 Law Library."

I would pass up HLS for that.

I would demand that Thomas Jefferson's name be stricken from all school records and replaced with my name. I would also tell them that Duke is doing the same with Coach K AND offerring a $5,000 a year stipend.

If that's the route you want to go, you ought to take Al Groh's office - you'd be doing everyone a favor.

Is it a bad thing if you went submitted to complete to decision pending in one day?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
