Well this definitely does influence my decision - we Yankee fans are few and far between in the Midwest. We should definitely roam Iowa City in packs come October! You have to attend Iowa. I cannot be the only Yankees fan., You would provide much needed cover when people start hating on the Yankees.

I think mikey or someone else posted it in this thread somewhere, I just can't seem to find it. Here's a bit from an e-mail response I received from Assistant Dean Byrd:IpunchedCharlieRose wrote:Man, it's rough all over. How did you find out?
Right now, money is not available, and we will wait and see what our yield is for the admitted applicants who received scholarship funds. The earliest that we will be able to award any more scholarship money is March 15. There is no guarantee that we will have funds available at that time; but we will take a look at our yield and the scholarship budget.

I really didn't have any intention on applying here, but today I received a please apply to us email from them. Are they short on URMs? Because sending me this email on 3/4 is a little late in the cycle.

This is really frustrating. So those of us that have not received scholly info may actually receive something, but not until around the time that deposits are due? Cruel.crystalhawkeye wrote:I think mikey or someone else posted it in this thread somewhere, I just can't seem to find it. Just to keep perspective, these schools make very conservative estimates on their time, money etc.. Quite likely their yeild will force them to reevaluate much sooner.stuffnuff wrote: This is really frustrating. The case was interesting. Given the circumstances, I agreed with the ruling.mikeytwoshoes wrote:What did everyone think of the case?
