- people do not go ACWL at the same time. but.. it's possible that the first to go ACWL are the first to get accepted.

it was but I should clarify that it didn't hold up completely so whether this is true or not will depend on NYU making moves which needs to happen yesterday.

I had the 5/2 waitlist e-mail status under mail notifications, but it disappeared and now the latest mail notification on my status page is "Letter - Waitlist Offer" dated 4/26. That's the day I actually got my waitlist e-mail so that works.

FWIW, my LOCI response email was signed that way too, and it appeared as those characters (smiley/kiss face?) on my phone, but on gmail it's a little telephone and a little envelope
