That's really weird. It probably got lost hahachandhi wrote:Is it weird that I just got my acceptance letter? The letter was dated Dec 19 and postmarked Dec 21. I live on the West Coast, but that's a ridiculously long time...

Denied travel stipend for ASW. I knew I would be but I wanted to try anyways since I'm coming from the Midwest. Oh well, guess pictures online will have to suffice.

Changed my RSVP to April 1 not the Feb ASD. I'll be at BU for their 3/31 ASD. Hope to see a lot of you there!

Is anyone else trying to hold out on RSVPing until scholarship info is released? I am incredibly interested in BC and could definitely see myself living and working in Boston. However, I live in the South and I'm wary of booking a flight, falling in love with the school, and then having to take a hard look at the debt I may have to take out in order to attend. Hopefully scholarship info is released closer to early/mid February so I can still book a semi-affordable flight.

IMO RSVPing shows interest, plus BU offered to pay for my flight for the 31st, so I just decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and get it in early. I totally get not wanting to shell out before you know if it will even be worth it tho.jstans wrote:Is anyone else trying to hold out on RSVPing until scholarship info is released? I applied for the public service scholarship (PSS). If I don't receive that will I still be considered for merit $$?
Im scared nothing will even be left by the final decision for PSS cuz that's not even until March

I do feel like an assole with this attitude, but like...law school is expensive yo and I already have undergrad debt. Plus a generous T14 offer. I love Boston, I'd love to stay here, but it's gonna come down to money.Dodocogon wrote:pantsuitchic wrote:Alright, BC. Show me the monayyyy.

Has anybody from that first wave of Fast Track waitlists (the ones we were all super surprised about) received a final decision yet?

Did they tell you you were a "fast track"? I was waitlisted very early, early December, but they didn't tell me I was on a fast trac waitlist. No word yet either way.fazzvm56 wrote:Has anybody from that first wave of Fast Track waitlists (the ones we were all super surprised about) received a final decision yet?

Speaking of waitlists, I need to send in my LOCI soon and was wondering if any of you know how I send another LOR with it? Do I just attach it to the email or do I go through LSAC?

For most of us it comes down to money. Yeah it said the info would be emailed on the financial aid document attached with "congrats" emails. So it could be any time, I suppose.

IIRC the first wave of financial aid info came out around 2/8.lawof11 wrote:Yeah it said the info would be emailed on the financial aid document attached with "congrats" emails. So it could be any time, I suppose.
