To give more data points/experiences, I received my JS1 on 12/1 and was admitted 1/15. Looking at the stats, I was between 25th and 50th for both GPA and LSAT. Very average work experience. Don't think just because you have great numbers you will be entitled to an early JS1/JS2; similarly, there are plenty of us at HLS who make up the bottom 50th percent of admissions and spoiler, they don't wait to admit you until last. Sometimes they even let you in above people with super high scores.

Looking at the past couple of years, interview request come out about once per week - expect to see another batch at the end of the week (probably Friday) and hope that you find out via email instead of TLS

There are two ways to interpret last year's JS waves: that, for the first few waves, they're about one per week; or, that in the first couple weeks of November there is one every couple days. Either way, it seems likely that there'll be another wave by Friday, and, even if not, there's nothing we can do about it anyways!

I submitted on the 29th and never got an email confirmation, however I was able to access my application status check by going to their website and requesting my forgotten password.

My application status is "application received". Is this unusual for them to have not emailed me? Is it strange to still be at the "application received" screen 10 days later?

(And yes, I asked so that I could feel way better about not having a JS1 yet; submitted and completed over a month after you so, no need to worry!

It's also fairly random, I submitted in September and went complete early Oct. and have yet to receive anything from them but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

I would also not worry because I've been on par stats-wise with the others who have received JS1s and I haven't been contacted. So unless there's a huge flaw in my app (hopefully not) I still feel that there's some element of randomness even if the top stats applicants are receiving interviews.

I remember seeing that they're not sent out all at once, but I don't know if the difference is a few minutes or sprinkled throughout the day.
