Did anyone else get a call asking about your continued interest? I received a call today from Georgetown. No offer, they were just wanting to gauge my interest.

Which WL are you in? Preferred or Special Preferred?

is it bad that im special preferred and still have yet to receive a call? i'm a little confused. they kind of made it seem like they would exhaust special preferred before preferred, preferred before regular, etc. but it seems like they've been jumping around quite a bit

I sent them two LOCI's. Again, they didn't extend an offer of admission, they said they just wanted to gauge my interest.

1 LOCI, visited the school & spoke to an admissions officer, and have pretty much said "i am 10000% committed" in response to every email... so i'm not feeling too good about things

I feel that on top of WL rank that demographics play a decent sized role in selection of people contacted/accepted.

Aka being a WASP male on the reg WL puts me kinda low lol

Question: If you tell a law school they are your first choice in an LOCI and then change your mind after your are admitted off a waitlist, can anything bad happen?

Nope. It is similar to them telling us the class is full. Kind of shitty, but not illegal lol.

I'm telling three of my waitlisted schools that they are my top choices. Which is true compared to where I'm committed. lol. It's a "well, I'll be lucky if I get into any of them, so if one takes me, they're my top choice" situation, so I think there are loopholes.
