Wow, that is a hefty scholarship from Emory.HangingAround wrote:I got 138k non-Woodruff applicant to give some base idea of how high it goes outside of the full ride. Probably goes higher than 138 for all I know, but just to add to the sea of anecdotes.

thats funny that you mentioned this might happen and it did! congratsnjkga wrote:Thanks! I did not.bdb90 wrote:Congratulations! Did you apply for the Woodruff?njkga wrote:TheProdigal wrote:Happened to me at FSU last cycle. Too bad things were said during the tour which turned me completely off the idea of attending there.njkga wrote:I'm visiting/touring Emory this friday - how sweet would it be if they're like "Oh hey, we have your admissions packet right here. Congratulations!"
Does that ever happen?
Sure enough, this is exactly what happened today. When I arrived, they were like "By the way, have you heard anything from us yet...?" and I said "No, not yet." And the guy was like, "Well, congratulations, here's your acceptance letter!"
When I got home, the admissions package (via usps, letter dated feb 3) with my #flatdooley was waiting for me in my mailbox as well.
In with 105k - pretty standard amount for my numbers, based on lsn.

There are a few 135+ on lsn, mostly from those who are over both 75% or are URM or (i think) internationalbdb90 wrote:Wow, that is a hefty scholarship from Emory.HangingAround wrote:I got 138k non-Woodruff applicant to give some base idea of how high it goes outside of the full ride. I think they asked everyone to apply for the woodruff - it was a mass e-mail. Unless you're talking about something else... I wouldn't read too much into it. Still, congrats on the excellent offer.HangingAround wrote:Yea decently above 75th LSAT and between 50th and 75th for gpa. Not URM or international. Emorys school funded positions proportion is a pretty big turn off though. Also surprised I got a decent one since they asked me to apply for woodruff and I declined given yield protection and all.njkga wrote:There are a few 135+ on lsn, mostly from those who are over both 75% or are URM or (i think) internationalbdb90 wrote:Wow, that is a hefty scholarship from Emory.HangingAround wrote:I got 138k non-Woodruff applicant to give some base idea of how high it goes outside of the full ride. I submitted around then (maybe later) last year and was admitted with $$$. Presumably numbers dependent, but Emory seems pretty formulaic on admission and aid.yenisey wrote:I submitted the application form on 2/12. I don't think so, though it might be until late March/early April before you hear back. Keep the faith! I had about given up on Emory.yenisey wrote:I submitted the application form on 2/12. When is the deadline for seat deposit? Basically, when do they have to email a decision by?

Re: Emory Law c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Just checking in - Still waiting on my application, went complete 10/20 with a 163, 3.7. I'm getting pretty impatient since I've been waiting 4 months but I know Emory is really slow with decisions so I'm trying to keep my head up.
I was lucky enough to be able to tour Emory Law and sit in on a family law class this weekend. It was a great experience! Anyone else visiting/still waiting on your app from October?

Applied at the end October and got admitted about two weeks ago with a scholarship. Anyone know if the school reimburses you when you visit or something like that?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
