I was the only one in the "Oh The Places You'll Go" excel to say Berkeley. I HAVE ALL THEY HYPE CAL, ALL OF IT.

Any explanations for the lag time in decisions this year? Perhaps we are going to later see that app volume jumped and schools are now taking more time to evaluate their pools? Curious to know everyone's thoughts.

Lighting candles, doing voodoo, and crossing fingers and toes for Dean Tom call tomorrow.
They mentioned that first admits were going out later this year because Veteran's Day fell on a later day. That means tomorrow ... right?

Nothing yet either way from what I've seen/read... we're all "patiently" waiting... I have the admissions Twitter on push notifications because they apparently tweet when first wave is released.carterjo wrote:Anyone accepted or rejected yet?

Where did you get the info regarding decisions being later because of Veteran's Day? Veteran's day is always the same day every year. Do you mean Labor Day?wittywitless wrote:Lighting candles, doing voodoo, and crossing fingers and toes for Dean Tom call tomorrow.

There are no reported decisions. Berkeley tweeted a while back that they found the first admit but then never sent out decisionshammocklv06 wrote:Nothing yet either way from what I've seen/read... we're all "patiently" waiting... No worries. I know Michigan said that decisions would be late because of Labor Day but did not know Berkeley suggested the same. Even though Michigan said that they turned around and made a few offers the next day.wittywitless wrote:Apologies, yes. I hope so too! But an LSAC forum took place in SF yesterday and I don't know how involved Dean Tom was in it. We will know within two hoursbamb00zled wrote:Hoping to see some acceptances today!

Part of me is wondering if they're just changing the whole jig this year and waiting until after T giving. Don't they know we have nosy relatives who need this information?! Have some empathy Berk, let me in now so I can make my socialist grandma proud.

The idea of waiting another two weeks makes me very sad.bamb00zled wrote:Definitely!wittywitless wrote:It could still happen ... right? Right?

Re: Berkeley C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
The prospectus does indicate that decisions will start in December so they could be changing it up. I just don't know what previous viewbooks have listed. If it doesn't happen this week I will probably stop thinking that they could happen in November for sanity sake.bamb00zled wrote:Definitely!wittywitless wrote:It could still happen ... right? Right?

They're probably dinging us for creating hype that runs counter to their explicitly stated December decision timeline.gobears!! wrote:The prospectus does indicate that decisions will start in December so they could be changing it up. Can all of my fellow applicants share their stats and where Berkeley ranks among schools they've applied to? That would really help me out as a fellow applicant.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
