Not sure but I thought there were items before.

That was my guess. This speculation was just fueled based on what happened with the boxes for Georgetowngamerish wrote:I don't have a checklist either. I think it was gone pretty much the same day I went complete last week so I don't think it's indicative of admission one way or the other.

It was many moons ago, right before the first wave of acceptances.gamerish wrote:What happened with GTown? I don't have any boxes on mine.benwyatt wrote:That was my guess. Boxes briefly appeared and then vanished. Those who had the boxes during that brief window were accepted shortly thereafter.

I don't have any requirement boxes on mine either, and it says "complete and ready for review." I really don't think I ever remember seeing boxes.

When I saw that on the status checker I was really hoping that April was a super late estimate. I don't think I can wait that long =(mornincounselor wrote:ED candidates should have a decision by January, RD candidates by early April per the status checker. Might take a bit longer due to it being the new dean's first year here.

+1 anyone else who saw the change?TheodoreKGB wrote:Still "Ready for Review," but with another date change today. Safe to assume these changes are meaningless, or perhaps hinting at going under review soon?
and for those who saw the update how is your expectation regarding the decision considering your numbers?

I had a date change as well.
Not sure what to make of them considering there's a new dean. They may be using the status checker differently this year.

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but I'm not sure what UTs status checker has to do with Cornell's...mornincounselor wrote:Apparently, at UT last year applicants didn't place much significance on date changes in the status checker either.benwyatt wrote:I had a date change as well.

"Complete email over the weekend. Sitting tight until the decision since the status checker is useless."
"Don't worry, the status checker is worthless anyway."
For the record tons and tons of movement on December 9th there.
ETA: nevermind, I googled her.

Anyone with a prime number of status changes by the first day of December will be admitted by the end of the year.

I thought Cornell needed a separate essay for applicants seeking a public interest scholarship. But now I am browsing around and not finding anything. Maybe I am thinking of a different school....hmm....anyone care to enlighten me?
