I'm on 3/3/2015 and never even received that mass email. Fordham is driving me towards the brink of insanity

+1 ... Wish I would've heard from Fordham earlier as I really liked the school. Glad to finally have a decision from them at least.JHP wrote:In via email today, but will be attending elsewhere.

Got a measly merit scholarship too--maybe not enough money in the pot this late in the game? Anyways, will be going elsewhere with better money and better prospects.MEAhrnsbrak wrote:+1 ... Re: Fordham University School of Law C/O 2018 Applicants
^^ Thanks for the info. Here is me hoping I get a decision before the second deposit deadline.
I don't know what the deal is. If you are waiting still, are you planning on writing a LOCI maybe? But I'm not sure that's a good idea because some schools don't want LOCIs unless you are on the WL. Plus I don't want to slow down the committee even further, so yeah...Not sure what is going on.

I wrote a LOCI back in March and got in last week. I think it helped my chances.LawsRUs wrote:^^ Thanks for the info. Here is me hoping I get a decision before the second deposit deadline.

I just asked for a refund on my application. I couldn't wait any longer for what was turning into a no chance of that magical opportunity for housing inside the school.

Is anyone else still waiting to hear back or am I the only one? My date was moved to 5/8, but nothing yet. Past experience had shown me that after a date change, a decision soon follows.
I guess they are really swamped and have a hard time making decisions.

Could someone post or pm me if
1. You got $20k/yr need based aid,
2. If you are going to the reception next week,
3. If you went to ASW, I would love to hear about your impressions, and/or
4. If you were successful on your negotiations.
Thanks

Re: Fordham University School of Law C/O 2018 Applicants
LOL that's freaking awesome.
Yeah I got in some time ago. I'm seriously considering it because they give out need based aid on top of merit based
possibly a sweet deal. We will see what happends. . . .
But I definitely think that had I heard back from them sooner, earlier in the cycle, instead of waiting for seven months, I would have matriculated for sure.
