+10,000. I'm running out of ways to occupy my law school thirst while I'm waiting to hear from schools.

Speculation is always dangerous and tricky, but I think what you're saying makes sense.

I'm pretty sure everyone in my class who was just straight accepted interviewed, but I know a few people who got in off the WL with no interview, and at least one of those people got a very substantial scholarship.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. It seems like a slow cycle, plus it doesn't seem like that many interview invites have gone out in late Nov/early Dec. Have to remember that Thanksgiving was in there, too.

It's promising that those who are WL -> Admit still have the possibility for scholarships.

RD First Decision Dates, according to LSN:

2017: 01/21/2014 Tuesday
2016: 01/23/2013 Wednesday
2015: 01/13/2012
2014: 01/10/2011

I looked at dates where more than 1 person revealed the decision they received, assuming anything before were ED'ers reporting their decisions.

Prediction for this year: Tuesday or Wednesday January 20th or 21st. According to last year and the year prior, they seem to release decisions after MLK Day, early in the week.....but hoping a return to early Jan. decisions, which might come true since they began interviewing RDers early this year.

I support this line of thinking...

Yes, they guarantee all ED decisions by the end of December, traditionally it's right before the holiday break - I'm assuming Monday or Tuesday the 23rd or 24th

I'm not sure what precedent there is for this, but today I went to UR 3, with still no interview request or anything.
