PT. Complete since the 17th. No movement.
I've become a nervous wreck.

Checking in, Duke is definitely a top choice for me. Does anyone know if they I will be possibly eligible for PT if my first LSAT is in September? Or is that just an early applicant program? Thanks, and good luck all!

You can solicit a PT invite after you get your LSAT score back. At least that has been the case in the past.superpatton wrote:Checking in, Duke is definitely a top choice for me. Are the PT apps supposed to go under review on two separate dates? Still waiting to hear back.

If your date just changed you should be getting a decision tonight. That happened to me, and around 5/6 ET it switched to decision made; await email.vitamindoll wrote:Are the PT apps supposed to go under review on two separate dates? Still waiting to hear back.

Thanks. Problem is, it has been 10 days and no movement since UR1. Is this a bad sign?LawBron James wrote:If your date just changed you should be getting a decision tonight. Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Ahh, I see. I'm just getting anxious because it's my 10th day and I haven't had any movement since it went under review 9 days ago.sneakyleo wrote:Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I had a date change several days ago with no decision. It could be true that if it changes again, that means a decision is coming, but it doesn't seem to be the case that a date change necessarily means an imminent decision.LawBron James wrote:If your date just changed you should be getting a decision tonight. Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
Per the email, pretty sure everyone who is "provisionally admitted" can now call that admission official. Congrats y'all!
I hope you received our recent invitation to apply to Duke Law School through our Priority Track program. I am writing again to update you about a change in the program – the interview will now be an optional part of the scholarship determination process. This change reflects the overall strength of the pool that we are seeing and our desire to keep the admissions process as streamlined and simple as possible for our Priority Track applicants.
What this means for you is that if you are provisionally admitted during the ten-day Priority Track review period, you will be officially admitted to Duke Law School when you complete the next step of our admission process – applying for financial aid and scholarship assistance. As part of the scholarship application process you would have the opportunity to participate in a Skype interview with a member of the committee, if you choose to do so. We hope you would take advantage of the interview because we expect it will provide an excellent opportunity for us to discuss the financial implications of attending law school and to learn how we might be able to help.
The Financial Aid Office will send the scholarship application form to provisionally admitted applicants via email; information about how to schedule an optional interview will be available in November. Those who apply for scholarship consideration will receive their official admission letter and financial aid decision soon after the Scholarship Committee completes its review. (Applicants who are provisionally admitted during the ten-day Priority Track review period and do not wish to apply for scholarship assistance may contact our office so that we can officially admit them at that time.)
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to write to me. I look forward to reading your application!

Well... Not really, right? We have to apply for schollys first? This whole thing seems weird. It's like you like us? Oh we like you too- probably. Do you still like us?

Re: Duke Law c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 cycle)
the scholarship "application" is just a one page form where you check whether you want to be considered for both need based and merit based aid or just merit based.w0w wrote:Well... ETA and while it might not be technically official right now, it went from "you're probably in" to "you're definitely in but fill out this form first"
