Commencing. Also, my job just 'asked' me to work a 14 hour shift on Friday, so if HLS could possibly bring me some good news that day, that would be just perfect.

You guys are definitely right to be panicking right now: no one who applied after October 15th last cycle was admitted. If I were you, Dreamweaver, I'd just ask my mom for a rec. Moms hold a lot of weight with adcoms

They shouldn't have made the subject of the email "Harvard Law School" though because I almost had a heart attack when that popped up on my phone.
Got this email too. I had the same reaction, then thought for a second if it was a spam as the sender's address was @gmail.com.

9 days to go complete - by far the longest amongst my applications to the t14. Foreshadowing to my impending 8-month waitlist.

Just got the email confirming my application is complete...more than a week after I went complete on the status checker. Is this normal?

from the looks of last year's thread, complete emails coming long after status checker completes is totally normal

i think they took feb scores last year because there was a special circumstance where some LSAT administrations on the east coast got snowed out. Barring something similar, I don't think they'll do the same this year.

I buy the "shoring up their medians" motivation tho too

Speculation: Harvard has decided to admit 1 applicant this year. They already found them and shut down the admissions process, having raised their medians to 4.0 and 180, while boasting a .00001% acceptance rate
