Just checking that you're fine working in the south. Those two schools serve completely different geographic markets.

Someone I spoke to said that they will hand out 3, but I think in the past it was anywhere between 3-5

I just received a diversity scholarship. I am excited about this, but I am wondering if this is my entire offer or should I be expecting additional award based upon merit?

I was awarded a diversity scholarship too. And, no, it doesn't work that way. If you get diversity you can't get a Merit scholarship too. The only way you'll get more is a) need based grants (you have to do a form for that) b) win the Moritz scholarship which will then replace your diversity award c) attempt to negotiate.

Just found out I received a leadership scholarship. Suddenly makes it a more attractive choice.

I was about to break my lurkers silence by asking if anyone had tried negotiating. How did you go about asking? Trying to work up the courage to do the same, haha.

Just letting everyone know I was notified via phone call that I was selected as a Moritz Scholar! I'm still not sure where I'm going but this makes it a harder decision for sure

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
