Dean's Certification/Recommendation Form
Hm I never used this form and my application is listed as complete. I called the school and asked if I could have the Dean's office email Cornell directly and they said that was fine.
It's only needed right now if you have C&F issues.

Yeah I had something minor happen over 8 years ago that I disclosed. I may call Cornell tomorrow and see if they want me to complete that form.

Dean's Certification/Recommendation Form
Thanks Lavitz! One other question regarding that form. Is there a reason that it doesn't ask for a last name and it asks me to "waive my right to this recommendation" twice? Maybe I'm just not awake yet...

Probably typos.
Last name comes first though since it says "Family" first and then "Given."

Yeah I was confused by "first name (family)" too
is this like some knew PC term for last name?

Definitely. Georgetown, Duke, and Michigan have all accepted a ton of people and Cornell's early decision results are barely trickling out. It's frustrating, especially since it's my #1 realistic choice along with Duke.

Columbia has always been the slowest. No ED results until December and no RD results until late January. And only snail mail. Just terrible.
I don't see Cornell being slower than Columbia this year.

lol, ok. But it's still ED only. And Cornell released ED decisions first. Will be interesting to see if Columbia releases RD decisions anytime soon, and if Cornell continues to drag its feet.

Yeah definitely!
Not anticipating hearing back from Columbia until the new year. Though I'm hoping that with the movement of Cornell and Columbia ED, NYU will follow shortly!

NYU usually releases ED and RD at the same time in early December. But given that glitch the other day, who knows? They may be faster this year.
