fee waiver issue, any advice?
Retook LSAT in December, and did well enough to earn some fee waivers from T14. E-mailed 'SC with the new number, and solicited a FW, but received the standard response (posted on the website): we give them to those above both medians. Since I'm below their GPA median, I took it as a, 'no way'.
Went ahead and paid the fee and submitted app through CRS. Approx. 24 hours later, received an e-mail from 'SC: congrats on the score, yada, yada, and offering a FW. At the bottom was the fine print: if you have already paid, thanks for the donation, bcos we don't give refunds...
Almost like a bait-and-switch to me. (Yeah, I get that it is likely different departments processing paperwork, but still...)
