I did a couple of days after I got the call.

I got the acceptance a week ago, 11/30. Still waiting. Hoping it comes soon... I'm all the way in NY

I'm on the east coast too, and got the call on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Received the package on the following Monday or Tuesday. Maybe shipping is a bit slow because of the holidays. I bet you'll get it today or tomorrow!

Just got the call today. Complete on 11/22. $60,000 scholarship. This was my first acceptance and it sure takes a load off. I have 14 more apps out there but if the cycle ended today I'd be pumped.

I got the same offer (and just received my packet today, yessss!) It's contingent on maintaining a 2.5 GPA for me at least which shouldn't be tooooo difficult with their curve. Congratulations, what an awesome first acceptance!!!

Nope! I've been complete for a month. I know my numbers are right on the edge (and not great), but I wish they'd just put me out of my misery! I have images of my application sitting by itself in pile labeled, "Hmm....maybe. We'll get rid of her later."

Just out of curiosity, anyone have any idea if it's possible that the adcom hasn't even looked at my application as an EDer who went complete a month ago? Maybe they hold off automatically if they don't see the numbers that they're looking for? I'm beginning to feel like the only person who hasn't heard yet! (Though I know that's not true...)

I'm just confused about why it's with the program director and not someone on the admissions committee. Looking at last year's thread, an ED'er was asked to interview with Dean Schwartz, which makes more sense to me if they're on the fence.

My first thought when you posted this was that they wanted to connect you with the program director so that he/she could give you the good news directly and express how pleased they are that you want to contribute! I hope I'm right!

I really, really doubt it. And your numbers (like mine) are on the fence but definitely not instant ding. Considering that some ED'ers HAVE gotten dinged already, I'd say there's definitely hope; they're considering!

Those are great numbers... Don't worry, especially bc UCLA goes for them high GPAs.

I agree with the others in that you should pretty much be an auto-admit! I'm surprised you haven't heard anything, but I think it will come.

Are there any glaring factors that would go against you (major c&f issues, etc)?
