LSN results from last year (http://michigan.lawschoolnumbers.com/ap ... r=desc&p=4) show acceptances starting on 11/3 and continuing every weekday for the rest of the month, so it seems like it's more of a trickle than a series of waves. Though you might end up being right, I'm still crossing my fingers hard for daily acceptances.

I submitted on 10/28 and got an email on the 31st saying they received my app. Since then I haven't heard anything and have not received any correspondence about a status checker at all. Is this normal for Mich?

I submitted on 10/4 and didn't receive my status checker until 10/16. I think a decent amount of lag time is the norm with Michigan.

Keep in mind that, because the status checker changes everyday, if they didn't check their status on Tuesday, it would appear they had been admitted Wednesday even if the update had come on Tuesday. It's sort of a schrodinger's cat situation....the cat was already dead but they hadn't opened the box yet....
