When I went DR (4/23), I got an e-mail later that day informing me I was in. I would check your email tonight and see!

You got an email the same day your status changed? It has been over 24 hours since mine changed and no email. Maybe they send emails immediately to those accepted but wait for those that have been denied. Hope not.darkatillam2 wrote:When I went DR (4/23), I got an e-mail later that day informing me I was in. My e-mail acceptance didn't mention any scholarship, but the actual snail-mail packet did have a scholarship award.aykim2188 wrote:I assumed they would mention it in the actual letter but I guess not?michaelweisshar wrote:If it doesn't say anything about a scholarship that means that you didnt get oneaykim2188 wrote:I received my acceptance through email yesterday but it didn't mention anything about a scholarship? Have other people received scholarships in their acceptance email or at a later period?
I'm assuming something will come in the snail mail along w/ the acceptance letter...well I hope

if you don't mind me asking, how long did it lapse before the scholarship award arrived?splitsplat wrote:

The e-mail said something along the lines of "we are sending out the actual letter tomorrow," but it took a week for the packet to arrive + I'm in California, so it could be a few more days if the packet is being sent to the East Coast.cobsss wrote:if you don't mind me asking, how long did it lapse before the scholarship award arrived?splitsplat wrote:

is the waitlist expected to be very active this year? Or is it essentially a death sentence?

Re: Pepperdine 2015
Sooo i just got an update on my status checker. At the top of the page it says this:
"Your application for admission to Pepperdine Law is now complete. This means that we have all of the documents we need and that your file is in the review process. The typical time frame to receive a decision is approximately 8 weeks after the date your application becomes complete. That date is listed below. Because it is peak processing time, applicants are sometimes experiencing longer wait times for a decision.
The next step will be for your status to change to "Decision Rendered." A letter will be mailed to you within 1 - 2 business days of your status changing to "Decision Rendered." Please note that decisions are sent via U.S. mail only. If you have further questions regarding the status of your application, please contact the Office of Admissions."
This is confusing because I have been complete since 3/2/2012 and that date has not changed. Why all of a sudden would they update me with this information? This wasn't there before. Did anyone else get this update? It's been exactly 8 weeks since i've been complete too..

While I have no hard data to offer, the waitlist moves every year. Judging from the last minute effort to reduce the stipulation and offer money to people who had not received scholarship offers, I think that they have had a greater number of people declining acceptances in favor of other options. I would think this bodes well for those of you on the waitlist.

Just withdrew! So the waitlist will at least move one spot
Hope you get it Dreas, might give me some good karma since I'm obsessing about some other schools as much as you are about Pepperdine lol

At this point, I'm just keeping an eye-out for movement on the WL.

Re: Pepperdine 2015
Finally went decision rendered yesterday after being complete for months. Haven't received an email yet. I know they state that all decisions are sent my regular mail but it seems those who have been accepted in this thread got an acceptance email after decision rendered that they were accepted. Can anyone confirm this? Hoping for at least a waitlist

Anyone speak to admissions yet regarding the waitlist and when they might start reviewing those apps?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
