I just got a need based scholly for 13k for next year! I assume the way it's written means that unless I win the lottery I can expect ~13k a year, but I'll have to look into that.

I'd stopped checking my application status, although the last time I checked (probably at the beginning of the month) there wasn't any sorta update. I was surprised with an acceptance packet today. Don't really wanna go so I think I'll be withdrawing. Good luck to all of you.

Mine didn't come with anything. I sent some emails, and they told me that merit-based information should start coming within the next week or so. My LSAT is below median, but I am still hopeful. I want to be here more than anything. If you do your FAFSA/Need Access forms, you may get need-aid. They're pretty generous in that regard.

I want to be here more than anything. If you do your FAFSA/Need Access forms, you may get need-aid. They're pretty generous in that regard.

That's awesome. I had no idea they hadn't sent out merit-based info, I just assumed since I didn't get anything in my acceptance I was out of luck. A decent merit offer with the 13k in grants they've offered would certainly push me to Davis over UCI I think.

Glad I could bring such joy into everyones' lives! Merit scholarship from Davis would make the decision for me. The more I look at UC Davis material, the more fantastic it seems.

Same here. I visited the law school last week and loved it. I loved the school when I checked it out before undergrad but I wasn't accepted so I went to UC Irvine. The only thing holding me back at this point is that my girlfriend will be in grad school here in Southern California.

We're supposed to get scholly info already?? I always assumed that scholly info (need based and merit based) would come April 2nd... I got nothing in my package last month. :/

Btw, I have yet to meet a Davis alum who didn't love the school. Excited for ASW.

got in yesterday apparently (i found out via some email telling me to go to an alumni and admitted-student reception in LA). no financial info yet. the status checker site says they mailed me something, so maybe there's an offer there. will update.
