So who was granted an invitation to the summer program? What did the e-mail or letter say verbatim?

I have been WAITLISTED...like many of you, AND Indy is my #1.

Was just offered 13k/yr with 3.0 stip. Withdrawing this week though so I hope someone else gets my money and spot (maybe one of the other Chicagoans in this thread on the WL? )

Me too. I sent them an email to be considered for PT yesterday to up my chances for admission. I'm from Indy and I figure that even if I have to spend next summer in class to transfer into the FT program at least I'm getting into my school of choice. When did you go complete and in review? I went complete 2/1 and didn't change to in review until 4/5.

hey, so for my second LOCI i sent them an email. i got no response about it for about 4-5 days. I got worried, and just left them a voicemail. they got back to me the next morning! just letting you know, old fashioned phone calls work better during their stressful weeks!

A lady named Valarie called me, she left a vm and I didn't hear it, called back in literally 5 seconds. She was really nice and said she received it and put it in my file and said if i had anymore questions or concerns. then said i shouldn't hesitate to contact them if i did!

so i feel good about making that call and leaving a vm, just another way of showing interest?

give calling/leaving a VM a shot if they don't respond to your email in the next 3 - 4 days

Still in review status but final grades were posted today for my undergrad. I sent a letter over indicating how it would positively affect my GPA, both graduation and cumulative. I'm hoping it serves a dual purpose of raising my application potential and expressing my continued interest. All that's left to do now if hope for the best.

snail mail your offers to the director of admissions? that way you can send in a hard copy of all your offers? i don't know anything tho. I'm a hopeless waitlistee.

I am going insane over here and I honestly don't know what to do at this point. I feel that if I push by continued inquiries that I may force them into a denial just to get me to shut up. At the same time I feel that it is rude for them to string me out this long. Any suggestions???

I just called and left a voicemail for Valerie Young in admissions. We'll see what that accomplishes for better or worse.
