I would do it. I think turning down an interview would be worse than a nervous interview - at least then they know you are seriously interested in attending and you have a chance to tell the alum why you would be a good fit, etc.

yeah I would do it too, if you really are borderline rejecting the interview will probably not lead to a positive result so you have little to lose by giving it a shot. Besides if you are a nervous interviewer its a good opportunity for practice you will be doing a lot of interviewing in the near future. and your LSAT score is not awful.

I don't blame you. I find it odd that you're good enough for GTown but not good enough for GW.

I'm a bit of an unpredictable applicant, though, because I am a big splitter. It may be that schools that are less focused on climbing the ranks feel like they can afford to admit a splitter with excellent softs (me) if they really want me, whereas GW wants to take no risks with its medians. This would explain why I'm in at NYU and Georgetown, but got waitlisted at Fordham and GW.

Or maybe they just don't like me

rejected today - 2.78/171

A bit surprised since I received an interview at Georgetown and last year's LSN put me at pretty much auto-admit/WL, but GW wasn't a top choice so I'm not too broken up about it.

Just a letter though, it says everything else is coming over the next few weeks and months

You'll do great at NYU or GTown, I'm sure.

To me, this whole cycle is just weird because it seemed like at the beginning everyone knew the way every school was supposed to play out (except Berkeley and Stanford) and now it seems like they're just all going all over the board so everyone is on edge.

It makes the admissions game more fun though. I think the adcoms are getting a kick out of TLS.

PS - I really don't believe the adcoms troll TLS or LSN for that matter.
