I'm sorry if this has already been asked (I tried to look, but I didn't see anything), but do all those accepted have "scholarship agreement form received" under requirements on your status checker? Is it referring to need or merit-based scholarship? I just noticed it.

Re: Case Western 2015
I just checked, and yeah, it's there on mine too. I'm not sure what it means since I haven't gotten my scholarship offer from them yet, I was just accepted last week. I'm not too worried about it since it's under transcripts, which I'm assuming refers to your final transcript that you'll send to them before starting school.MOJayhawk wrote:I'm sorry if this has already been asked (I tried to look, but I didn't see anything), but do all those accepted have "scholarship agreement form received" under requirements on your status checker? It means you will be receiving a merit-based scholarship offer and will need to sign and send in a scholarship agreement form if you decide to accept the offer.MOJayhawk wrote:I'm sorry if this has already been asked (I tried to look, but I didn't see anything), but do all those accepted have "scholarship agreement form received" under requirements on your status checker? I'm pulling mine this week. Complete failure by the admissions committee.apeopleshistory wrote:I still have not been contacted about an interview. I'm going to end up pulling my app. This is ridiculous.

Re: Case Western 2015
After 3 emails, I finally got an acknowledge of my intent to to now opt-out of the interview process. No way I'm going to this school unless I get a full ride. If the admissions process is such a failure, I have no faith in any other aspect of the school.cdelgado wrote:I'm pulling mine this week. The scholarship agreement note has disappeared from my checklist now. Wonder what that means...

Same. Guess we'll find out soon enough! If I can't get money from them I'll have to withdrawstephinmd wrote:The scholarship agreement note has disappeared from my checklist now. Wonder what that means...

My scholarship note is gone, as well. I searched the 2011 forum, and they said the note being under requirements had no relation to actual scholarships awarded. I guess we'll see soon

Re: Case Western 2015
I figured. It's kind of like the schools that have "dean's letter" under requirements, it's just one of the requirements some people will have, so it's displayed for everyone. Once I get into a school I stop habitually checking my statuses.MOJayhawk wrote:My scholarship note is gone, as well. Got an email from Case today saying to "join the winning tradition." I actually thought it was a decision.

Yea they are seriously dropping the ball. I have a considerable amount of acceptances so I really don't know why they are lagging it bad.USMCMatt wrote:NYC KID wrote:Got an email from Case today saying to "join the winning tradition." I actually thought it was a decision.

Re: Case Western 2015
just received an email about my interview! I have been under review for the past 3 weeks, I am beyond nervous. Has anyone gone through one of these? How much does it affect the decision of the school?

I had one over the phone, we talked for almost an hour, it was really cool. I have no idea what effect it has on the decision, though. I'm still in review.

I'm a little perplexed that they have the time to send out "winning tradition" emails but not schedule the interview for which I've been waiting forever...

For those of you who have done the Alumni Interview thing....what kind of questions did they ask? Pretty standard, "Why Case, Why Law, Why blah blah blah...?" kind of stuff?

yes, those questions, but also be prepared to ask some questions of your own to avoid the dreaded awkward silenceUSMCMatt wrote:For those of you who have done the Alumni Interview thing....what kind of questions did they ask? He actually asked me to name a professional experience that I handled poorly and what I did to resolve the issue. Kinda came out of nowhere.

Re: Case Western 2015
The guy who interviewed me just talked. Told me about himself. Asked what I got on the LSAT. Why I wanted to be a lawyer. Asked me all of the schools I was applying to and told me which ones were good and bad from a hiring perspective (he is a named partner at a very large firm). He ended up giving me his card and cell # and told me to call him no matter where I go, and told me to come back and see him about a summer associate position during my 1L winter break. All in all, a worthwhile guy.
EDIT: Also, that interview was about a month ago. He told me that I should get a decision in a week or two... never heard anything from the school.
