Not generous enough, lol. Even with a $23,000 annual scholarship, you'd still be shelling out $20,000/yr plus the expenses of a major metropolitan area. Maybe I've grown stingy, but that still seems really expensive for a school that primarily places in an over-saturated market and travels poorly outside the state. I'm hoping I can leverage other scholarship offers for a better deal from UMN, otherwise I'll be withdrawing in short order. Minnesota's good, but they're not worth that kind of debt (to me, at least).minnbills wrote:Yes- they are generous.

I've worked with hundreds of applicants throughout this process... I understand. You can't let law school (or any one aspect of your life, for that matter) define you and your happiness. You're right to deal with that now, before it turns into a mid life crisis and a huge loan debt. But it'll be ok. Let the cycle pan out; stop withdrawing from schools. You may ultimately decide not to go this coming year; but you'll at least learn a lot from this cycle.Gail wrote:To see another waitlist is really going to hit my heart. I'm clearly not emotionally well enough to go through law school right now. If waiting for admissions is causing me this amount of heartache, think of the kind of nut I'd be in law school. It's not worth it.
I need to grow up a bit. Deal with my own issues. I'll get around to withdrawing from the rest of my schools sooner or later. This cycle was the ultimate bust for me.
