I had the same thought about my own situation and inevitably got to this point.

Then again, the reality is that adcoms probably don't have time to peruse TLS. I'd say you're safefreestallion wrote:Sigh. I'm screwed now.

Yeah, I would have no qualms but I don't want them to figure out my top choices, etc... Oh well. I'm hoping they don't have time to track us down on TLS; Facebook should keep them occupied (I hope!)FryBreadPower wrote:Besides, if you aren't a dick and are an upstanding citizen on this website who cares if they find you?Themaddh wrote:Then again, the reality is that adcoms probably don't have time to peruse TLS. Is it just me or does CLS seem to really really send out a lot of mailings, especially from it's subordinate organizations? I got a letter in the mail today (imagine the heartache as I wondered what it could be), and a personal e-mail from an admissions guy a week ago, along with a couple of other cookie cutter e-mails within the last month.
No other school has reached out like that at all. It really is impressive, I just wish that I believed that they want me to attend vs. want me to apply then get rejected

They must really like you. They haven't sent me a thing (besides the standard application received, application complete, and revised certification form emails), and I applied early.EMZE wrote:Is it just me or does CLS seem to really really send out a lot of mailings, especially from it's subordinate organizations? Well I wouldn't give it a second thought, because my numbers are auto-deny. Most of the stuff is military service centric, but it was cool to get a handwritten letter from one of their organizations.

For the class of 2014, Columbia had 406 matriculants, and NYU had 450. It's hardly a great disparity.thederangedwang wrote:class size....same reason why harvard is more predictable than yaleJamMasterJ wrote:anyone know why LSN looks so much more predictable for Columbia and NYU than it does for Chicago?
