In today!
90k over three years. As flattered as I am, if I stay in LA I'll probably go to UCLA. As such, I'll probably withdraw this week so that that money love can be spread somewhere else!

Re: Loyola LA 2011
I took a tour and crashed a course recently.
A. the class was amazing, the prof was really knowledgeable, Entertained students thoughts, and was really enthusiastic about the material (conlaw)
B. The campus is really cool. Literally a pocket park in the middle of Downtown with great architecture. I could really enjoy lounging around that campus.
C. Our tour guide sucked and I have no idea why LLS would hire an unenthusiastic, awkward kid run a tour. It almost ruined the campus for me, but I got over it.
Did some exploring for myself and talked to a lot of students, who were more than eager to speak with me about their experiences and help me out. I was really impressed by the class and the students there. Two thumbs up!
---
PS, for those of you getting scholarships, can you include your numbers with your offers so we have some sort of idea if we can leverage money out of them.

Re: Loyola LA 2011
For anyone wondering about scholarships, I received an $87,000 and talked to the financial aid officer at Loyola to see if I could get more, since I have a very competitive GPA/LSAT for them.
He said that $87,000 is the highest scholarship amount they offer without it being full-ride, which they only offer to a handful of students with special circumstances.

I have been complete since mid November. Does the status ever change before a letter comes?
I am a reverse splitter hoping for the best with my 3.86 and 20 years W/E and softs...
Thanks

I think the status checker only changes to say that your letter is in the mail. What's your LSAT? My friend had a high GPA low LSAT and got into Loyola. Her GPA might have been a tad higher than yours.2807 wrote:I have been complete since mid November. Does the status ever change before a letter comes?

I am a reverse splitter and got in with 23k/year. I think you have a good shot at Loyola. Is your LSAT at least above 160?Pleasye wrote:I think the status checker only changes to say that your letter is in the mail. What's your LSAT? My friend had a high GPA low LSAT and got into Loyola.
