Still processing. The woman I called a couple of days after submitting assured me that I made the EA deadline as long as I submitted by midnight EST Nov 1 (which I did), but it would be nice to have some reassurance in the form of an updated status checker.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
I submitted mine early but they said they'd wait while I got another LOR from a professor (ugh) which wasn't sent til last week- and the email I got today said I made the EA deadline, if that makes anyone feel any better

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Yeah, I think they are also waiting for my LORs. Ugh, I just found out that the school I ED'd at doesn't notify us of decisions until Dec. 31. Like this waiting is a little ridiculous, I was prepared to wait until mid December... But the end of December...

I applied 10/30 with everything ready. Just got the completed email saying I was under early action today.

Just got in 20 minutes ago via email! Also, got invited to apply for Dean's Scholarship which is 45k per year. Any idea how many people they invite to apply for that?

No idea how many people they invite, but it's probably a larger number than we would hope/expect it be.

Sooo perhaps it would be accurate to say that this morning they are releasing acceptances only to those who qualify for dean's scholarship... I guess I shouldn't expect anything, then. Congratulations to everyone though!

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
OMG. I haven't really been chekcing my status that much becuase I was pretty sure all my files were ready.
Now as I log on, it is STILL PROCESSING>>>>>>
I'm worried. Am I in for EA deadline?
I submitted on 10/31 got an email that they received it 11/1.
When does it seem like I'd hear back from them? eh

Not that my opinion is highly qualified or anything, but your avatar picture is slightly scary.

Hi Everyone! Yes, I received information about the scholarship in my email. Submitted 9/29, Complete 10/18, In Review 11/9 and then 11/18. My LSAT is above the 75th and my GPA at the median. I also received the email at 10:17 EST. PM me if you have any questions.

Re: Cornell 2011 applicants
Just got an email saying I've been deferred to regular applicant pool. LSAT at median and GPA just below median.

The medians for 2010 are 3.7/168, so the 75% must be higher.r6_philly wrote:75's are 3.8/168 right?

Although, it does seem like virtually everyone who goes to Cornell has a 168, nothing lower, nothing higher.
