Yikes, my stats are slightly lower than this. Does anyone know of any OOS reverse splitters admitted thus far?

Oh fuck. Same stats minus an LSAT point. That's terrible news.

Guess I shouldn't complain. Baylor only took 13 days to accept me so I got spoiled. I just want to here something and there are people who applied after I did who have heard back. So I have no idea what there process is

Yeah it's kind of frustrating seeing later apps get accepted before your own. Makes you go nuts trying to figure out the system and also second guess your application! Congrats on Baylor and here's to getting a decision at Texas soon!

Thanks much. I'm sure you'll get in. I'm definitely a reach at UT so we'll see. The waiting game is agonizing though. Especially since I've heard people get admitted through phone, email, status checker and snail mail, and rejected through email status checker and snail mail. So i've basically been checking everything every day.

Hi everyone, sorry if this derails the thread, but does anyone know how UT's admission process works? I mean do the Dean and Assistant Dean of Admission pretty much make the decisions or do they have an admission committee? TIA

Yea I don't know. In-state also. I did have to disclose 6 arrests/tickets, though. Two of which were crimes of moral turpitude. I thought I would at least get wait-listed. Oh well.

How recent/serious were these crimes of moral turpitude?

In via phone call on Nov. 12 with the crowd.
Multiple LSATs w/ the highest in the low 170s.
GPA: not in 4.0 scale
Submitted Nov.1,
Processed Nov.10.
Got EID Nov. 11.
In state.
Asked about the scholarship but was told will be reviewed for scholarship in the next couple of weeks. Is anybody here in a similar situation or has anybody got scholly in the acceptance call on Nov.12?

So do you guys predict that everyone who applied right at the deadline will hear back next week, or maybe since way more people applied right then it will take some time?

Well, they seem to be getting through everyone pretty rapidly, but they still say that we might hear back as late as January. As another person who submitted right at the deadline (and I mean
right at the deadline) for ED, I hope they get through us quick. Looking at last year's LSN it seems like some fairly late ED submitters did hear back in late November and some heard back later.

I just ate at Salt Lick and picked up some UT law gear. It's been a good trip to Austin.

Damn, the salt lick is dank.
For good Mexican food, I would suggest Habanero, weird hours... but tasty/good priced food. Love their fajitas.
