on LSN the two lowest GPAs that have been accepted are a 3.01/168 and 3.05/166. there hasn't been a ton of movement with Georgia yet, so they probably haven't dipped down to many strong splitters yet.bergg007 wrote:have any sub 3.0 splitters gotten in yet?

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
anyone else take the December LSAT and have their file still be incomplete because UGA is "waiting on your score" ? I emailed them but its kind of frustrating over 10 days since scores came out they are "waiting" for it....

If I've been "held for further review" should I send a LOCI?

I've been held for further review since around the first week in December I think. A LOCI wouldn't be a bad idea I imagine. I'm too annoyed with them to send them anything, though.athenian wrote:If I've been "held for further review" should I send a LOCI?

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
We are numbers twins. I posted it earlier on in the thread but last year according to LSAC UGA admitted 34 out of 37 applicants with GPAs from 2.75-3.24 (well under their 25%) and LSATS 165-169. We fit into the middle of both of those so hopefully this trend continues to this cycle...bergg007 wrote:have any sub 3.0 splitters gotten in yet?

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
I submitted 1/7 and still haven't gone complete. I turned in my certification letter or whatever in person on 1/7, too, so that can't be the holdup. It's weird, because I submitted my other apps on 1/12, and two of them are already complete.

UGA has some letter that had to be signed and mailed. It said it was required regardless of payment. The only other school I applied to that had this was UCLA, but it was only required if paying through the mail. I received fee waivers from both schools, so payment method was the same.

I did no such letter and admissions says the only thing missing from my file is my LSAT score ... weird.Pricer wrote:UGA has some letter that had to be signed and mailed. I took pause with that request too, though I did nothing and was accepted nonetheless.

I received fee waivers from both, and sent certifications to neither. Hmm. Did anyone else mail this letter to UGA? Good to hear. At this point, I probably wouldn't send it in anyway. I submitted about two months ago. I don't have very warm regards towards UGA at the moment.NonTradHealthLaw wrote:I took pause with that request too, though I did nothing and was accepted nonetheless.

You've got me beat on both numbers. I was complete on 11/15 and accepted on 12/8; before the holidays and Southern snow debacle.

Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
I reviewed my app, and didn't see any mistakes, and have been admitted to other schools with the same PS and what not...I don't know why they don't like me, oh well. From my following of this thread, I don't recall anyone else with decently high numbers saying they've been put on hold.NonTradHealthLaw wrote:You've got me beat on both numbers. Re: Georgia 2011 Applicants
My roommate, who applied last year and was accepted, said he didn't do one last year. Maybe I missed something. When I called the office about it on 1/7, the lady told me to bring it in regardless if I paid online or intended to pay through mail. I took it in person, and the lady accepted it like it was normal. Just a sheet of paper with my signature and some other pre-filled info.

I applied during their snow storm along w/ Alabama and haven't received a Complete notice yet. Is that normal? Maybe about 1.5 weeks ago.

I called UGA today and they said they just received our "hard copy" LSATS today. The admissions lady seemed a bit annoyed that I called.

lol - but its a legit inquiry. People want to know why they have applied to and gone complete at some schools with their new LSAT in the past week yet UGA still doesnt have them. But this is good news as Dec, LSAT applicants should be going complete soon...SrLaw wrote:I called UGA today and they said they just received our "hard copy" LSATS today. I have been complete/under review and have also spoken with admissions people about my file multiple times with no mention of the missing certification form.
