I really want Wake to be the first school I get in to, been UR since 1/4. Over 75%lsat under 25%gpa. If I got any money it would be hard to turn down Wake.

Here's to hoping for next week tho! :)
Thanks for the info!

Wake's my top choice!!!
I believe everybody notified before Feb last year was in/wl.
That is awesome news! (Hopefully)

I bet you will hear around when I do. Their decisions seem to come in waves and from what I've read here we have a good shot since we applied early. I'll let you know if I hear anything!

oh no! I was really hoping to hear something this week. I really don't think I'll be able to attend the Scholars Open House (if I get a scholarship) since it'd be kinda short notice to plan and budget a trip from TX :(

Do you have a 163+,3.0+ ? Cause that was teh monies cutoff last year. (unless there are some extreme splitter/reverse splitter scenarios I'm not aware of).

I think the cut off was higher than that, otherwise I am totally thrilled because I have 163,3.3! lol

Sorry, this may have already been answered, but do we know when Wake is giving out money? I was accepted a while ago, but no word on $$$. Does this mean none is coming? Wake might be my first choice, but not without some cash.

I mean, because you are right at the cutoff, it might not be a lot, but unless the applicant pool has gotten dramatically better, I'd say you stand a decent chance.

I'm not sure a 163/3.0 will get money, but I know that people with 163s and good gpas, as well as people with 165-168 and 3.0s, got money. If I'm not mistaken, no 162s got money, and no one with below a 3.0 got money.

I think Sandro is implying that he has a 2.9 and got $$.

You would think, but from what I've gathered Sandro applied this cycle and no scholarships have been given by Wake yet = ?

I think it's his wishful thinking.

Based off last years LSN cycle, the LSAT cutoff for scholarships seems to be 163 (non-URMs). Looks like they gave a few scholarships to sub 3.0 people with LSATs 168+.

Who knows though, the applicant pool may be a good bit smaller than last years, so your guess is as good as mine as to what the cutoffs will be this year. Probably nothing drastically different from last year.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
