Splitter here. Just applied everywhere over the weekend. 3.23/169. Applied to every decent school on the West coast except for the ones that are obviously too hard (Boalt, Stanford, UCLA).

BU and Cardozo have shown me some splitter love. Cardozo's love came with money- very attractive money. Anyone visited?

Hey fellow splitters... if it weren't for WUSTL I would be having a terrible cycle so far. Rejected at UVA and Northwestern, waitlisted at W&L. In at WUSTL, and Seattle University with 15k/yr.
Still waiting on University of Washington, Minnesota, Columbia (lol), William & Mary, UCLA, and possibly something else that I forgot.

That LSAT spreadsheet you gave me worked wonders. Got a 171 on the December LSAT. Gonna hang on to that score for 2011 applications though.Eugenie Danglars wrote:Northwestern does, indeed, love splitters

WLed and Vandy, Penn. I would not be surprised if I get through this whole cycle without getting rejected anywhere.

Waitlisted at Vandy? I'm sorry to hear that man. Have you gotten into a school you're excited about yet?Hannibal wrote:WLed and Vandy, Penn. I would not be surprised if I get through this whole cycle without getting rejected anywhere.

Ride out those WLs, some school will need a splitter at the end of the cycle to maintain or boost their medians.Hannibal wrote:WLed and Vandy, Penn. I would not be surprised if I get through this whole cycle without getting rejected anywhere.

Anybody with similar numbers heard from any of the schools I'm waiting on (except for Vandy and UCLA, since I'm not expecting to receive good news from them regardless...)?

Re: 2010 Splitters Application Thread
Splitter hate today, waitlist from Minnesota. Was my #1, so that sucks. Stats:
171/2.94
Accept:
WUSTL
Iowa
Nebraska $$
St. Thomas (MN) $$$$
Denver $$$
William Mitchell $$
DePaul $$
Drake $$$
Waitlist:
Minnesota
Illinois - Withdrawn
Pending:
Colorado
Kansas
At this point, I'll probably end up with my full-ride at St. Thomas or $20k/yr at Denver... Unless Iowa or Colorado comes through with a decent scholarship. Which I'm hoping both will!!!

Eh, I really do prefer Michigan, but No. 4 and an hour from home is hard to turn down. I'll go to both ASWs, see how money works out...we'll see.beachbum wrote:Wow, nice job. Is it your top choice now?Entchen wrote:Just thought I'd pop in and report a splitter acceptance to Columbia
