Will they want to kill me if I give them a call?

Also-- is it possible it has anything to do with numbers? I'm at 25% LSAT and fairly well above 75% GPA.

Holy crap, just realized NYU's new 75th for LSAT is 175... A whole two point jump? That's insane. and depressing.

May be different reasons. I know I had to wait for my dean to send a letter since I answered yes to one of those questions....I submitted pretty early and went UR on 11/10.

Your mileage may vary...

I should have mentioned that I applied ED; could this have something to do with it?
no i submitted 10/31 and have been UR since 11/9 RD. i doubt it has anything to do with numbers...mine aren't great.

Ugh. Just called and they said everything's fine. Sometimes it just takes a bit longer. It could be a few weeks. FML.

Just submitted. Took 2 months longer than my other apps, but I like my scholarship essay. Hope it's not all that late.

For the record, I don't think you are an auto-admit, but you have a strong chance. Check out LSN for 169/3.9X and you will see that they get in like 5/7 times. Also, the chart on TLS looks good for that combo. Just telling you all this so you don't freak out about the delay in going UR! Good luck!

DEFINITELY not an auto-admit. I'm just worried since people are submitting and then are UR 5 days later. I don't want to be further handicapped by being late in the pile for review.

How long did it take to get a status checker for people who submitted recently?

Submitted last Wednesday, and got the status checker email today--although according to the status checker, my app has been processing since last Wednesday. At least they were working on it in the meantime :)

Thanks! I guess I won't get the checker info until next week.
