I'm just glad to see that the change is something that most people are seeing. If someone wants to call I will certainly be glad to listen to what they have to say. But at the same time I don't think it's necessary... yet. Let's give them a week or two and see if anyone's status updates from the "initial" stage. Calling will only distract them from reading our lovely applications

I submitted my app to UF law on Monday, does anybody know how long it takes to get an email from UF with the details about paying the $30. I know they said contact them if I have not received an email in 10 B. days, but how long did it take for you all to get that email?

I submitted my application on 9/16 and didn't receive the emails until 9/27

I know I submitted on the 28th and am still waiting. I figure I'll wait until next Friday. I'm sure something will come by then. The way I see it, this is just one baby line is a whole slew of lines that will be coming [specifically the decision line for most of us...specifically me]...

Submitted on the 29th, still waiting for the supplementary data email as well.

While you guys are waiting I figured I would share an interesting and awful story. I was in Gainesville on Tuesday visiting a few friends and one of them was extremely excited when he met up with us because he had just gotten the call telling him that he was admitted into UF's Med School. We both shared stories about how it was great to be admitted and have some pressure taken off of us. Well, his phone died and by the time he had charged it he saw that he had two voice-mails from the College of Medicine asking him to call them immediately because they had important news. He also received an email as they tried desperately to reach him. By the time he got this news it was too late to call them, so he called them back yesterday and found out they made a mistake and he was wait-listed...

Thats rough but hopefully he will be one of the first off the waitlist....

Wasn't it a year or two ago that some college in California sent acceptances to everyone they rejected and vice-versa? Must've been awkward...

What if someone withdrew from a great school? Idk, that would really put a damper in my day. Even with these phone calls though, I don't really believe it until I have the letter in my hand with my name on it.

I know. Luckily they caught it quickly because it could definitely have had a major impact if not. My friend bought me lunch in celebration of "getting in". I bet he wishes he had that $8 back.
