Rejected. Words can not describe my disgust and anger for them taking so long to make a decision. Seven months just to reject someone is just plain mean.

It is mean. Seriously... mean. And I remember reading (correct me if I'm mistaken) that finalaspects and JolieSaraLee went through review multiple times simply to be rejected. For G-d's sake, if you are going to reject these people...why put them through multiple reviews before doing so?

I had the same thing. 3 in review dates. Thats probably why it stings so much. I have no problem getting rejected, I just wish they could have done it 5 months ago like everyone else. I really got my hopes with all these in review dates, and the fact that it took so long. Its like my hope built up like a balloon, and they just popped it. At least I have a good option in Minnesota, but I really wish they would have handled it better.

I saw in your profile you got into Illinois...go to Illinois!! I go here for undergrad and it's amazing. I probably just outed myself, but w/e. My cycle is basically over anyway.

i was complete on 1/14 and no word at all until i did online status check today and it says In Review 4/29!! seat deposit is May 1st, right? seems like this is basically WL before they reject me...

Does anyone even know what multiple review dates even signifies? It makes no sense to me... I treat it simply as a malfunction in their system, haha.

I was in the 4/26 batch, and the seat deposit for us is May 10th I believe... Good luck!!

Still IR 3/26. I think you're in. Monday seems to be accept day for USC, followed by reject day on Tuesday. At least that has appeared to be the pattern in recent weeks.

I haven't followed this thread too closely. How does USC notify applicants? Some schools only mail rejections, email WL, etc.

You would think so, but I had a DUI to deal with during the cycle. Not surprisingly, it throws things off a bit.

Got my ding in the mail after going complete 1/27, to DF last week.

I will give them credit, though, for having (IMO) a much nicer rejection letter than GWU or UCLA.

Those two just said "We had a lot of people. Sorry. kthxbye." GW even had the nerve/bureaucratic incompetence to follow up my rejection with an advertisement for the law school as if I never applied at all...

At least SC invites one to apply as a transfer, essentially saying "Look, we liked your numbers a lot but we had soooo many people apply. Sorry we couldn't take you or put you on WL, but there is one possibility if you are still interested..."

Edit: Did any other recent dings get that kind of letter from SC?

I got DF today too after Complete 1/14, IR 4/22 and 4/30. Im a reverse splitter for USC. But I'm hoping for the best, this is my last shot at a great SoCal school.
