FWIW -- I got a new job in Nov. 09 working at a law firm (I want to show them that I'm looking for experience in the legal field even if I'm not getting paid like a lawyer). Also, I got a fairly significant promotion at the service organization that I work for. It's basically a volunteer air search and rescue.
+1
I was sent the FR e-mail as well. It's not really a WL... so is it appropriate to send a LOCI?
You didn't receive the email today did you?? (wondering if there was any movement, as I have been UR since 11/9, and no word yet whatsoever)
And, as for sending a LOCI--though some may disagree, I would use any excuse to send a LOCI--including going to FR.

No, mine was about a week ago. I haven't heard of more being sent out yet. Apparently there are at least two groups of FR...at least from what I've seen in this thread.

It's a reach for me too, but if they were going alpha I would already be out.

It is quite a mystery! If I had to be honest with myself, I'd say reject. If I was being optimistic, FR. Neither of these has happened yet and I'm from 11/2.
I think Berkeley is my least active/most loved school. Funny how that happens.

I got a full Darrow and am over the 75 percentile for both GPA and LSAT, but I haven't heard anything (UR 11/9).
Should I be expecting a rejection?

I'm UR 10/19 and nothing. My theory was they were going in alphabetical order, but Veritas seems to prove that one wrong so...

Unless us rejects are going in alpabetical order, and Veritas just hasn't gotten the acceptance yet.

It looks like there have been a few people (including myself) who have been UR for a while and to our surprise, survived the first wave of rejections, while not getting sent to FR. My guess is that there are a few of us who might be in the "seriously considering looking past their numbers" pile--or the "I can only take one or two of you without seriously damaging our medians pile".

Thing is, I want to go to Berkeley for family reasons, and I'm from there. They wouldn't have to offer me much to get me there...

Either of those piles would be great, actually, as it's more of a chance than I thought I had! Well, I'm crossing my fingers and sending out as many good vibes as possible for everyone still waiting to hear something.

I'd love Berkeley and I truly believe I'm liberal and hippie enough to be happy there

Under Review since 10/19 - Really 3 months without a peep, this is just cruel. I just want to know. If you don't want me I won't keep hoping you do. If you want me, why wait so long to let me feel the love of the Boalt?

Under review since 10/22...still trying to figure out what this no FR, no rejection status means. For what its worth, LSP has me at 60% consider.

This is killing me. Why won't Berkeley just reject me already, damnit!?
