I keep checking my inbox hoping a JS1 will appear, but I know the odds are ridiculously low :cry:

Any predictions on when the next rejection wave will be? I somehow survived the first one, but given my LSAT score and the fact that I've been complete since early Dec. I am expecting that I am in for some bad news.

JS1 too as of 5pm est. But the email was not signed by J Soban (I was under the impression that JS1 means that J Soban writes the email). Good luck to myself and everybody else!

I wonder if that means that many otherwise attractive applicants are rejected because of the interview, or if many candidates with borderline numbers are offered interviews as a second chance to impress the adcom. IIRC, Harvard seems to follow the numbers fairly closely.

My confirmation email came the following day so I wouldn't worry if you don't receive it straight away

So...let me see if I get this...

JS1 is being offered an interview that only select people get. JS2 is being accepted. So, it's a pretty big deal getting an interview I assume?

No confirmation here yet, but the appointment info was already saved on the website, so I wouldn't care much.

I wonder if the next wave will be largely devoted to dinging those who applied after the last wave, or if we should expect some dings from those that weathered the last wave

According to http://mylsn.info/d/harvard/1415-NoED/ we should start seeing semi-steady rejections start to come in soon (next weekish?). iirc, they're behind a little bit this cycle as compared to last (if the JS2 wave from the last few days corresponds with the JS2 wave from ~Feb 2 last year).
