Hilarious. I've been freaking out even when people I KNOW call my phone, but I'm usually in a rush to get them off you line. You know, in case my call waiting stops working or something... ::derp::

What are the chances they're still to get to someone who interviewed a month ago? I feel like a waitlist is in my future........

Honestly, I haven't looked at all the data trends like a lot of people have, but it makes sense to me that as the process unfolds Harvard is putting people in admit, maybe, and rejection piles. Once they get through all their definite admits, then they'll go back and look at the maybes. From that group some will be accepted, some rejected, and some waitlisted. This is totally just what I think makes intuitive sense though.

So what I'm saying is just because you haven't gotten a JS2 yet, doesn't mean you won't get one (we all know that logical fallacy).

Plus, we have seen people who interviewed as far back as 11/11 getting JS2 this cycle, so you still may get one before Christmas.

Stanford is also making calls today. Could you imagine getting a JS2 while on the other line with Faye Deal?? That would be insane.

Holds were really confusing last year, because nobody really knew what they meant. I would imagine that applicants who otherwise would have been held probably won't be given a A/R/W until they would have without the hold, but perhaps W will be used earlier. I don't really know.
