Does NU usually take a while to send out the status checker?

For those who want to get in to their letter right away after receiving notification of a decision, it looks like your login info mirrors your status checker info (if that hasn't been said already). Received my letter yesterday, placed on hold.

Held. Put it as WL on my LSN. Not terribly surprised as I didn't interview or write a Why NW, but I will probably send a LOCI with more than a dabbling of a 'Why' in there today.

Ok fine maybe Nebraska is also called NU. But no one here is going to see "NU" and think you're talking about Nebraska, so there's no reason to use the stupid "NW" abbreviation that only ESPN uses.
It's Northwestern University.

My app just went complete. I'm curious about how long you all, generally speaking, took to receive a decision. Again, I'd read through the thread if it weren't so long; thanks!

Anywhere from 2-3 Weeks to almost 3 Months. The higher your LSAT/GPA, the faster the review.jdadmiss wrote:My app just went complete. I'm curious about how long you all, generally speaking, took to receive a decision. Again, I'd read through the thread if it weren't so long; thanks!

Cool, thanks! I hate when schools just have the status remain at "complete." It makes obsessively speculating so difficult -_-Inconceivable! wrote:Anywhere from 2-3 Weeks to almost 3 Months. Re: Northwestern Law C/O 2016 (2012-2013 Applicants)
Hey guys, I know this has been discussed but I'm still not clear on it. Is there a difference between:
"Your application is now complete and is being reviewed by the Admissions Committee."
and
"Your application is now complete and is being reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Please allow 6-8 weeks (from December 1) for a decision. Please be advised that your complete date may change due to internal processing."??
Is it possible to get a decision after having either? I ask because my fiance and I had an interview on the same day and went complete the same day (and they know we're both applying), but his changed to the first yesterday (after having the second for a week), and I'm still on the second.

Last year, some people got their waiting message changed and some didn't. It's impossible to glean any useful information from what your waiting message says.aiaea wrote:Hey guys, I know this has been discussed but I'm still not clear on it. Is there a difference between:

My parents are being so annoying about the NeedAccess info. "I don't what what our AGI was for 2012, we haven't done our taxes yet. Can you put a rough estimate?"

My stepdad is an accountant. I gave him my log-in info and ten minutes later he emailed me saying he was done. Oh and btw cograts on the acceptance! We might just end up going to the same school, is it your first choice thus far for schools you've been accepted to?shifty_eyed wrote:SO JELLYMicdiddy wrote:My stepdad is an accountant. So NU hold is more like a pre-waitlist waitlist..
Anyone get any news today? Saw one person update it on LSN but that's it.
