I got an interview request last week and my interview's already set up for this week (really fast turnaround time). The only weird thing is, I'm going to have to drive an hour and a half from where I live for the interview. Has anyone else had this happen?benito wrote:It seems they are usually pretty quick after the interview, although I have seen some exceptions on here. But it can take awhile to actually set the thing up depending on the availability of alums in your geographic area. My interview took a reallyyy long time to set up and I was agonizing over the delay but it worked out well in the end. I've noticed there are two reasons for the interview, one is for them decide on borderline candidates which would be the case if you were below one ore both medians, and the other is for them to gauge how serious the applicant is about actually attending if you have really high #'s; for YP purposes. So if you're below median you want to sell yourself and explain the deficient #, if you're above you want to allow them to sell Georgetown and try to get across that you will attend if accepted.imjustjoking22 wrote: I app'd late, below gpa above LSAT medians. I'm below median LSAT but above median GPA which is probably why I got an interview to begin with.

+1, Same stats as you, with a higher GPA. I have an interview set up this week, but it is not that bad a drive though. I am hoping that it will go well. I like Gtown quite a bit.
Goodluck with your interview!

Right back at you Mr. 2.0 and 120. I don't know if I'm as obsessed as I was before TLS made me jaded, but I do still really like GT hahamoxy wrote:I did not write a 'Why GT' .. clearly .. you like them more than I do ... haha .. well you won't be able to actually log in today either way... the log in credentials you receive today (hopefully not jinxing you) won't work for exactly four days, right at midnight on the 4th day you will be able to actually access the website. But don't worry, once the website generates that username/pw for you you are definitely in.sammis89 wrote:I got one Friday as well! How long after the update has it been taking people to generate a password? This wait is killing me.

When you were updated 4 times - did they request an interview during that time?
