My status checker showed a change in the header, but not a date update. Still stuck at 2/17.

This is exactly what happened to me. I don't know if this means much, because my numbers are very different from yours (much lower) .. weird.

Sorry guys I made a mistake. My date did not update, just the header. I thought the date updated too because I use the status checker program to check, and it shows the dates when there are changes

and the header changed a bit. Before it said stuff about ED, now it doesnt

I updated 1/27-2/29 and then today the header got rid of the Early Decision stuff too... Just want to hear already

Seems like they just removed the part about early decision in the heading now that the date is long past. I doubt it's a sign one way or the other.

I did write a Why Penn essay.
There must have been something else about my application that they just didn't like.
I still have several other great options, so I'm not horribly distraught, but I would have strongly considered Penn if I had got in.
Guess I'll sit down and write a LOCI this weekend.
