Yeah I'm thinking the same thing.. like they rounded up all the potential waitlist and sent the email. At first I didn't think too much of it but seeing the overwhelming majority of DLS people who didn't receive it makes me feel very pessimistic.

I think the reason that so many DLS people didn't receive the email is because of their recent UR dates. Many of them were UR2/3/4 in Feb. The email seemed to only go out to people who handn't heard anything in a while.
There are some DLS people from today who did get the email...and it seems like they had been waiting a long time to hear anything.

haha no, no - just saying 1/1s are in process/this round looks like a very random assortment of UR dates. (if it helps nowhere else has even acknowledged me yet

Hmm but did the UR dates affect the emails? I'm not sure. Here's hoping! If NYU doesn't let me in I'm going to have to take a year off and reapply

I think we determined that the emails only went out to peopel who had been waiting since 2016 (or possibly very early 2017)

Hey folks,
It's my understanding that all RTK interview decisions have been made. That means, we've read all the applications and so if you are still UR, I'm afraid the ship has sailed. Sorry about that, assuming there were still hopefuls.
I cannot confirm this 100%, but I imagine all interview invites have gone out or will have gone out by Friday. We are on Spring Break as of Friday, and while Administrators are on work, things do tend to slow down. So I think it is fair for you to assume that if you haven't gotten an invite this week, the chances you will get an invite have taken a precipitous drop.
I know I'm sharing to bits of harsh news, my intention is to make sure you folks aren't waiting on something and potentially jeopardizing other options at other schools because of this process happening in the dark.
For those that have received an interview invitation, there is a post I have elsewhere giving tips but I'm happy to answer PMs as well.
As an aside, I know a lot of you are still UR. Take this from a 3L: NYU is NOT a big deal. If you have money elsewhere, just take the money and run. Don't pay sticker here. Please. It's not worth the risk or the subsequent hardship. I redouble my advice for those considering public interest. LRAP/IBR are discretionary programs that can be changed/nixed at any moment.
Hang in there, it's all almost over!

Still UR1 since 1/9. Pretty sure my app is just sitting in a pile remaining unread until wait list day.

Thanks so much for all of your help/insight! Is it your understanding that there are many more invites to give this week, or just a few?

so i think there's actually a fairly decent sized squad of ur2 1/1 and afaik none have been accepted (hence my q). so yea, all dls waves have random ur dates in them, but to have NO 1/1s accepted isn't random at all. also it was a sunday and a holiday, so i mean it seemed at first like we were the ding a lings, but the dings have been happening and idk why they would wait? looks like we're the WL pile... basically im looking for a glimmer of hope

Where are my UR 2 on 1/17 folks?! Solidarity time.
Over GPA 75th, Over LSAT median. NYU is a top choice for me. Thinking of sending a LOCI.
