I've decided to be cautiously optimistic about going UR2 after a week at UR1...has there been a pattern for applicants who have went UR2 that quickly?

Does the amount of time elapsed between U1 and U2 mean anything? Since people are talking about 2/7-->2/14...

I am also a 2/7-2/14 (UR 1 - UR 2) and I did not write a "why penn" essay.

can't imagine a fast turnover would be a bad thing, considering the numbers of people who're posting that they've gone from 2/7->2/14

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
I don't think this is true. Each date change group that has heard back already has had some acceptances/WL/dings. I think it's just which batch of files your happens to be in.yossarian71 wrote:I don't know. I was indicating I'm still UR1 1/17. Sorry, wasn't super clear. My thoughts are they moved potential WL people forward while leaving dings behind.patfeeney wrote:Consensus is that we will be part of the next ding/ WL wave? Looks like all of us in that 1/17 passed-over group are now UR2. Are we all splitters, more or less?
I'm still stuck at UR2 1/29....

I am still at UR1 1/17, and I am not a splitter. I am above LSAT 75th and above median GPA (for whatever that is worth).

UR2 today, 2/17!
(UR1 = 2/10)
Could a UR2 2/17 make it into this week's wave of acceptances (if there IS one)?

Looks like I went UR1 2/7 > UR2 2/14.
Seems like a quick turnaround. Is it typically only UR1 and UR2?
Did not write a Why Penn. Did submit a DS.
